METHODOLOGY

This specific product is a poker-set, that comes with 136 poker chips, 2 poker racks, a hard case, a full deck, 5 dice and 5 coasters. The chips and coasters were made of birch wood and designed on a laser cutter, a pattern etched on the back of each. The cards were also designed on a laser-cutter with a pattern etched on the back. I hand dyed all the of birch wood. I also 3D printed the poker racks and hard card case with wood filament to keep the brand coherent. The only thing I did not design myself was the green, velvet bag. 

METHODOLOGY

The objective of this project was to create multiple magazine ads for an existing brand. I chose Dr. Martens because they are one of my favorite shoe brands. Dr. Martens have been around since 1960 and have kept their iconic black, white and yellow brand colors. They are known for being worn on many famous rock stars, so I chose to keep that narrative for the ads.

The objective for this project was to research a topic and create an informative poster with infographics. Kombucha has been around for centuries and there are many health benefits to be had if consumed regularly. I included information about the process of making kombucha so that the viewer can understand it better and then are more likely to feel comfortable drinking kombucha.

The objective of this project was to choose a topic and create a magazine with spreads and a cover. Many people enjoy anime but fail to learn about the ones who sweat blood and tears to create it. This magazine includes: interviews with animators,  anime stats and information on top animation schools. 

METHODOLOGY

The objective for this project was to create a brochure and poster for a mock event. Zuzana Licko was the typographer I chose for this project. I used inspiration from some of her typefaces to create designs and patterns. The circle on the front of the brochure is cut-out and the colors in the circle are a sheer, colored plastic so that the design shows through.
